The ministry of St. Luke's Caring Ministries Committee is to share God's love through word and deed by caring for those who are "the lost, the least and the lorn," those who are hungry, hurting, poor, lonely or in other ways disadvantaged.

St. Luke's provides significant mission support for a variety of ministries. Some of our beneficiaries include:

  • Lutheran World Relief through disaster relief offerings,
  • The Lutheran World Hunger Appeal with assistance for hunger relief and development projects in the United States and worldwide,
  • The Dane County Jail Chaplaincy, through the Madison Area Lutheran Council,
  • and affordable counseling through Lutheran Social Services.

In addition, four more of our partner ministries include:

  • Providing meals and housing for homeless families through the Interfaith Hospitality Network,
  • Hosting Blood Drives for the Red Cross,
  • Sponsoring workdays and fund-raisers for Habitat for Humanity,
  • and housing the food pantry of Middleton Outreach Ministries, and supporting their many other projects. and the Project for Older People, a ministry of Middleton Outreach Ministries.
