Welcome to a Confirmation program that will literally change your life!
Jesus Christ has a habit of doing that to anyone who seeks to discover what Jesus said, why he said it, what he did, why he did it, and what all of this means to those of us who seek to follow him and become one of his disciples.
And it’s discipleship we’re aiming to create in the lives of those who call St. Luke’s their church home. And what better group of people to continue that process of making disciples than those of you who are in 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades.
We expect some great things to happen to both you and St. Luke’s as you get involved in this program. When you sign on to this program we can guarantee that you will become involved in a fast-paced and exciting learning process that will help you grow both as a person and as a follower of Jesus Christ.
Below is a link to the updated schedule for the remaining of the 2020-2021 year. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like more information, please feel free to contact

Advent Video Series
"The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. And this is the name by which it will be called: 'The Lord is our righteousness.'” -Jeremiah 33:14-16
During the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness. He went into all the region around the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah, “The voice of one crying out in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the
Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth; and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’” -Luke 3:2-6
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:4-7
In those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your
womb. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me? For as soon as I heard the sound of your greeting, the child in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord.” Luke 1:39-45
