What is SecureGive?


SecureGive is a platform that allows you to make a donation anywhere, anytime. SecureGive provides you a way to make one-time or recurring gifts using your credit card or checking account. A link on St. Luke’s Website or Mobile App will take you to SecureGive. It gives you control over your giving to make changes, update account information or change the frequency of your donation when you want. You control your SecureGive Account.




Is my information secure?


Yes! SecureGive has contracted with McAfee Secure to run daily scans of the SecureGive servers and to alert them of any vulnerability in the system. The SecureGive software is encrypted with 256-bit encryption and their payment gateway software is PCI certified with 256-bit encryption. Encryption is a process of scrambling information to make it meaningless.

No credit card information or bank information is kept on St. Luke’s servers. Once entered in the system our St. Luke’s administrator can only see the last 4 digits of your credit card or bank account information.




How do I get a SecureGive account?


If you currently have a recurring donation or have used the kiosk you already have a SecureGive account. SecureGive accounts are based on phone numbers and there is a “Forgot Password?” link to reset it if you don’t know your password.

If you are new to SecureGive choose “Give” from our website or Mobile app. After you choose your donation then click "Sign Up", where you will then be able to create an account.




Can I give anonymously?


Yes, but please note than any donations given anonymously will not show up on a giving statement or count towards a pledge. Choose “Give” from our website or Mobile app. Then choose “Give without an account” at the bottom of the screen.




Why Give a Recurring Online Donation?


It’s a personal preference, but here are a few of the benefits:

  • It’s a step of faith… deciding in advance to give faithfully.
  • It helps simplify life.
  • It allows you to give consistently… even when you’re not at church.




How do I set up a new recurring donation?


  • After choosing your donation category and amount (this will be the amount you want charged to your account each time), choose "Recurring".
  • Sign In or Sign Up for an account.
  • Click on "frequency" and choose how often you want this amount to be charged to your credit card or bank account.
  • Enter start date
  • Enter end date (if you choose ongoing this will continue to charge credit card or bank account until you log back in and stop it)
  • Enter your payment information.
  • Confirm and Submit




Can I set up a recurring donation on the Kiosk?


No. Recurring donations can only be set up on SecureGive via the link from our website or Mobile App.




How do I see what recurring donations I have set up? How do I edit a recurring donation?


Once logged into your SecureGive Account click “Manage Recurring” in the top right corner. You will then see all recurring donations you have set up. On the right hand side are options to deactivate, edit, or delete the recurring donation.
