EXTRA RESOURCES

Read Aloud Recommendations

There are so many amazing books centered on the topic of trains. Originally, we were planning to walk over to the Middleton Public Library for story time with one of the librarians. While we do not have that as an option now, here are some train book resources!!

You can always check out your own books at the library as well!- Middleton Public Library

Ice Age Trail Field Trip!

While we do not have the opportunity to trek the Rocky Mountains, you do have the opportunity to go with your family on a hike of the Ice Age Trail. Besides the maps and pamphlets included in your VBS bag, here is a video by Amy Lord, Outreach and Education Manager from the Ice Age Trail Alliance.

In addition, here are some activities you can do as a family as you are hiking the trail!
