Summer Experiences 2024
We fully believe that building relationships with other students through fun and fellowship is a critical component of a student's experience and faith growth. For this reason, we offer multiple summer experience options for all of the students at St. Luke's.
We also understand that these experiences can be expensive for families. For this reason, we do have financial assistance available for families. We never want that to be reason that someone could not go. Please contact the church office for financial assistance We are happy to help!

6th/7th Grade Camp
“BELOVED”
Sunday, July 28 - Friday, August 15
Sugar Creek Camp
We will meet at St. Luke's on Sunday morning and drive together to Sugar Creek for a week of outdoor activities, games, and lots of fellowship! Together, we will work through our theme of “Beloved” and spend the week exploring our identity as beloved children of God through worship, Bible study, meaningful conversation, games, new experiences, activities, and more! The community building that happens at camp is unmatched—from experiencing new things together to being challenged to laughing until our stomachs hurt, this week will build you up and help you connect with our community in so many fun and interesting ways. Camp is special time apart—you don’t want to miss out on this awesome week together!

8th Grade
​“Journey”
Sunday, July 7 - Friday July 12
Ohio
Life is a journey, with ups and downs and twists and turns and lots of places to be. As we journey across the state of Ohio together, stopping at amusement parks and a variety of service locations along the way, we will think about the (sometimes unexpected) ways that God shows up in our lives amidst all the twists and turns and wherever our personal journeys might take us. We will ask the question, “Where is God in all this?”, and explore our answers together as we travel, serve, and play! In addition to time at amusement parks and time spent with local service agencies and ministries, we will also include Bible studies, worship, and nightly devotions. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the end of Middle School with your St. Luke’s friends and to look forward together. This trip is sure to impact your life and your faith! The cost covers all meals, travel and activities.

High School Mission Trip
“Love without Limits”
Saturday, July 13 - Saturday, July 20
Knoxville, Tennessee
On Saturday morning, we will hop on a bus together and begin our journey to Knoxville, Tennessee where we will have the opportunity to learn, serve, and put God’s love into action! This year, we are partnering with Next Step Ministries, who will host us in Knoxville and help organize a variety of service experiences for us. We will partner with local organizations and ministries that serve the broader Knoxville community, and every night, we will gather together with the local community and other groups of volunteers for worship, conversation, and fellowship. We will have the opportunity to build new connections, grow together, and serve together, as we explore God’s love—a love that is without limits!

The cost includes all meals, travel and lodging.
