GET CLOTHES
Options for receiving clothes for foster, kinship, adoptive care kiddos:
1) DELIVERY --> REQUEST CLOTHING
We aim to provide 5 - 7 outfits/child, seasonally, to the best of our ability but are sometimes limited by our donations. Regretfully, not all types of styles and colors of apparel may be available but everything provided is free. On the request form above, you'll select a delivery option which includes these delivery options. Clothes will be packed and delivered within 4 business days. A Luke's Closet volunteer will call or text you with delivery details. Clothing may be requested every 3 months or as needed. Shoes are only available at designated Shop & Eat events.

2) PERSONAL SHOPPING APPOINTMENTS
Call Luke's Closet -- 608-234-0146 -- to arrange for a personal shopping appointment to select clothes. Luke's Closet is located at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 7337 Hubbard Ave., Downtown Middleton. Shoes are only available at designated Shop & Eat events.

3) SHOP & EAT EVENTS >> Saturday, April 5, 2025 | 9am -1pm
Kiddos can select their own clothes and a free meal is served for families. No appointment needed. Pre-registration will be available closer to the event. We’re asking shoppers to follow these tips to make sure our events run smoothly for all our families.

Bring reusable bags. We have a limited supply of plastic and paper bags. Bringing your own bags will make it easier to get all of your clothes home.
-
Respect clothing limits. Each registered child gets 5 outfits, 1 package of socks and 1 package of underwear. Please note: Clothing is for children only except for the items in room 107.
-

ABOUT US
"Luke's Closet has an amazing volunteer staff. They help meet all the needs from preparing meals, books and clothing for families and kids in need. Thank you for all the donations. Blessings. Peace Be Multiplied." - Luke's Closet family

Luke’s Closet allows guardians to focus on helping kiddos heal from trauma, not the stress of providing for them. Foster and kinship (e.g., Grandma) families are an often-forgotten population frequently operating on the financial margins while caring for children who may have arrived at their new home with just the clothes on their backs after leaving a traumatic situation. We are Dane County's only clothing closet for foster, adoptive and kinship kiddos.

Luke's Closet welcomes all children (0-18 years old) and their caregivers in foster, kinship and adoptive care in Dane County, Wisconsin regardless of race, cultural heritage, national origin, marital status, religion, political beliefs, abilities/disabilities, gender identity or sexual orientation. Luke's Closet is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer ministry operating through St. Luke’s Lutheran Church 501(c)(3) status.
