The Saint Luke's Senior Ministry calls senior adults to grow in faith, demonstrate compassion, deepen relationships and cherish life through worship, fellowship, education and service. Saint Luke's offers a comprehensive program for seniors promoting spiritual growth and numerous opportunities for fellowship.
A variety of classes are offered including yoga, balance and fall prevention. Other faith based classes are available as well.
Senior Ministry Planning Committee
This group of senior volunteers meets at 10:00 AM on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to help provide direction and plan the entire senior ministry program. Ideas are always welcome. This committee is comprised of three sub-committees: Communications, Hospitality and Program.
Saint Luke's is a great place to just "hang out." The Sanctuary is excellent for meditating or for group or individual prayer. Our carpeted indoor walking area is great for rainy day or cold weather flat surface walking. Our church library provides another quiet place for reflection complete with an excellent collection of printed/audio visual materials.
For questions or further details please contact us here at Saint Luke's, 831-6084.
Meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month, September through May. Meetings consist of a presentation related to senior spiritual, physical or mental welfare, a light lunch and a program sure to entertain.
Senior Bus to Sunday Service
A free bus service from Rosewood Villas, Middleton Glen, Heritage and Voss Haus to and from our 9:00 a.m. Sunday worship service.
