Golden Opportunities invites you to a program featuring Just Bakery on January 15th at 1:00 p.m. Join us as we hear more about Just Bakery’s mission to create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to work. A representative from the bakery will share their story, the impact of their work in the Madison community, and how partnerships like this help foster dignity, hope, and connection. All are welcome to attend, and no registration is required.
Classes
Our Senior ministry team brings interesting speakers and "Golden Opportunities" to St. Luke's each month. Other faith based classes are available as well. Current Adult Faith Academy classes can be found here.
Senior Ministry Planning Committee
This group of senior volunteers meets at 10:00 AM on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to help provide direction and plan the entire senior ministry program. Ideas are always welcome. This committee is comprised of three sub-committees: Communications, Hospitality and Program.
Fellowship
St. Luke's is a great place to just "hang out." The Sanctuary is excellent for meditating or for group or individual prayer. Our carpeted indoor walking area is great for rainy day or cold weather flat surface walking. Our church library provides another quiet place for reflection complete with an excellent collection of printed/audio visual materials.
For questions or further details please contact us here at St. Luke's, 831-6084.
