Committees & Teams

At St. Luke's Lutheran Church, we are proud to be blessed with a strong community of supporters and volunteers dedicated to our mission. Our church is supported largely by passionate volunteers who lead and serve on the committees that make our church a beacon in the community.  If you are interested in nominating yourself or another to serve on a committee, you are invited to fill out the form linked in the button below. 

Building and Grounds Committee
This committee is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the church building and grounds. They work to ensure that the physical spaces of the church are clean, functional, and safe for all who use them. 

 

Children's Ministry Committee

This is a team with a passion for working with children birth through 4th grade and can volunteer or assist with different events and/or Sunday School. 


Church Council
The Church Council serves as the governing body of the church, responsible for making decisions about the church's direction, policies, and finances. They work to ensure that the church is operating effectively and in alignment with its mission and values. LEARN MORE

Communication Team
The Communication Team works alongside staff to ensure the church's communication efforts are clear and effective. They work to build on the image of St. Luke's, and improve our reach in sharing the church's mission and values to the wider community. LEARN MORE

Foundation Committee

The Foundation Committee oversees the investment of gifts and endowments made to cover expenses that are not available in the annual budget. They work with donors to facilitate planned gifts, manage the portfolio, and allocate funds to support the church's mission and programs. LEARN MORE

Heart2Heart Committee

The Heart2Heart Committee is responsible for leading our congregation through the Reconciled in Christ (RIC) and the journey of becoming a welcoming and affirming church. Their work is designed to help our faith community work for racial justice, deepen and expand our welcome to people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions. LEARN MORE

Men's Ministry Committee

The Men's Ministry Committee is responsible for supporting and encouraging men in the church through fellowship, education, and service. They organize events and programs that promote spiritual growth and strengthen relationships among men in the congregation. LEARN MORE

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is responsible for identifying and recruiting individuals to serve on the church's various committees and boards. They work to ensure that the church's leadership is representative of the congregation and aligned with the church's mission and values.

Personnel Committee

The Personnel Committee is responsible for overseeing the hiring, evaluation, and compensation of the church staff. They work to ensure that the staff is supported and empowered to carry out the church's mission and programs effectively.

 

Senior Ministry Committee

The Senior Ministry Committee is responsible for supporting and encouraging seniors in the church through fellowship, education, and service. They organize events and programs that promote spiritual growth and strengthen relationships among seniors in the congregation. LEARN MORE


Time/Talent/Treasure Committee

The Time/Talent/Treasure Committee is responsible for facilitating the congregation's engagement in the church's programs and activities. They work to encourage members to give of their time, talents, and financial resources to support the church's mission and programs. LEARN MORE
