Middle School Youth Night is a weekly gathering for 6th–8th graders built on one idea: every student deserves a place where they belong.
We meet after Oasis worship (Wednesdays at 6pm) and gather from 6:45 to 8:15pm. Each week looks a little different, but you'll always find:
• Community games and connection time
• Small-group conversations
• Seasonal service projects and special events
• A space where questions and doubts are welcome
Faith that grows with you
CONFIRMATION & FAITH FORMATION
Starting in 2026–2027, Faith Formation at St. Luke's is expanding. Rather than compressing the Confirmation journey into a few intensive years, we're stretching it across the full span of childhood and adolescence — from 4th grade through 12th. Each year, students gather for about four weeks of Wednesday evening instruction (6:30–7:30 PM). The content builds year by year. The Confirmation Service still takes place in the fall of 9th grade.
Summer Programs
An intentional week of outdoor ministry with our middle school. Students. We connect through a fun week of challenge courses, crafts, Bible studies, group initiatives, and worship. This camp is a unique experience to be immersed in an intentional Christian community together, and have faith-filled conversations.

Journey
8th Grade
Life is a journey, with ups and downs and twists and turns and lots of places to be. As we journey across Ohio together, stopping at amusement parks and a variety of service locations along the way. This trip is meant to celebrate the transition from Middle School to High School, and explore what it means to change chapters in our lives... all while building community along the way!
Summer Camp
4th Grade - 12th Grade
Students are encouraged to explore the summer programming with our Lutheran Outdoor Ministry partners. We recommend Sugar Creek, Crossways Camps, and Lutherdale - who all provide excellent programming that aligns with St. Luke's and ELCA theology. Watch your emails for an "all St. Luke's week" at one of our partner summer camps!

Upcoming Events
High School Fall Retreat
October 9, 2026
High School students are invited to Bethel Horizons in Dodgeville for an overnight retreat, Friday, October 9th through Saturday, October 10th We’ll get to take on a high ropes course, have great conversations around a campfire, and build on our church community.. This is open to all high schoolers, 9th through 12th grade, and it's a great way to kick off the year. Cost is only $50, and registration is open now through October 1st.
