CONFIRMATION & FAITH FORMATION
From 4th grade through 12th, we walk alongside your child at every stage of their faith journey, meeting them where they are, and equipping them for wherever life takes them next.
THE NEW MODEL
Starting in 2026–2027, Faith Formation at St. Luke's is expanding. Rather than compressing the Confirmation journey into a few intensive years, we're stretching it across the full span of childhood and adolescence — from 4th grade through 12th. Each year, students gather for about four weeks of Wednesday evening instruction (6:30–7:30 PM). The content builds year by year. The Confirmation Service still takes place in the fall of 9th grade.

Frequently Asked Questions
[Q] My child was already in Confirmation under the old model. What happens now?
[A] We'll make sure your child is placed appropriately in the new curriculum.
[Q] Does my child have to attend every session each year?
[A] We encourage regular attendance. The sessions build on each other, but we understand that life happens. Families who miss a session can connect with Pastor Brian for a recap.
[Q] Is this only for kids who attend St. Luke's?
[A] Faith Formation is open to any family in the community. No prior church background required.
[Q] Will this change the Confirmation Service?
[A] No. The Confirmation Service still takes place in October of 9th grade — that milestone doesn't change.
