Hey Everyone!
I have news that I am excited to share with you all.
I am grateful to be stepping into the role of Director of Youth & Family Ministry at St. Luke’s! I am really excited to make this change and focus my energy on walking alongside our youth and families in our faith community. While much of my focus will be supporting our middle and high school students, I will also be working closely with our Director of Children’s Ministry to strengthen how we care for children and families across the whole church.
St. Luke’s has been my church home since 2014, and I have been serving on staff since 2020. I’ve had the joy of being part of many children and youth experiences over the years (including leading the 8th grade service trip to Ohio pictured above), and I am looking forward to continuing that work in a more focused way. As I step into this role, I will also continue to help cover our communications needs while we search for our next Communications Director. Thank you for showing grace during the transition time while I have one foot in each role.
A big part of how I want to begin is by listening. I have created a short survey for parents and students to share your thoughts. I believe we're at our best when we are collaborative, and I look forward to listening and working alongside you all.
