Rob Gibson to Retire on March 31, 2024

Dear Friends,

It is with a great deal of emotion that I announce my retirement as Senior Citizen Lay Minister after 22 years of service to God and ministry to the St. Luke's Congregation.   This has been the most spiritually fulfilling experience of my life and I am very grateful to the people of St. Luke's.   I have been blessed to serve you.   

I am currently being treated for multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer and my oncologist has recommended a stem cell transplant.  This will involve an extended period of time for transplant and recovery.    The anticipated transplant will be in April, but the initial process has already begun with medications and tests.   

I wish to convey heartfelt gratitude for allowing me to minister to you these past 22 years and I look forward to seeing you in church after my recovery.
