Humankind has seen plenty of pandemics across our time on this earth. In the early centuries after Jesus’s time, many Christians lead boldly by caring and serving their neighbors. Some historical accounts even claim that as a result, Christian communities had higher survivability in the midst of the these plagues.
In all the pain, struggle, and loss we have seen through the past year… what brings me hope is the overwhelming love, care, and support of our church community. May we continue to care this boldly for each other beyond these strange times, and continue to serve Christ as our world heals.
