Dear Members of St. Luke's
This past week, Kevin Krause let the Council know that he was stepping down from Council effective immediately. We are grateful to Kevin for his time and leadership during his 5 1/2 years on Council.
Nominations are open to fill the open position on Church Council. During our August meeting, Council will select an interim Council Member to finish out Kevin's term. This selection does not get ratified by the Congregation, meaning there will not be a congregational meeting or vote to fill this seat in August. It will end in February, at which point they are eligible to run for their own 3-year term and would be eligible for 2 full 3-year terms in addition.
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for the open Council position, please fill out the nomination form on the St. Luke's website here. You can also submit names to Council members or Church staff.
Preston Rodriguez will serve as VP/interim President until the Council meets in August to finalize a full Council and Executive team.
